  Opening Procedure: When the user activates the open switch (either from inside the car, outside, or via the remote control), the control module receives the signal and powers the motor in the electric strut. The motor operates, extending the piston rod through the transmission mechanism, which raises the tailgate. A position sensor continuously monitors the tailgate's position, and once it reaches the fully open state, the control module halts the motor.

  Closing Procedure: When the user presses the close switch, the control module reactivates the motor, which then reverses to retract the piston rod and lower the tailgate. Throughout this process, a pressure sensor monitors the force between the tailgate and any obstacles. If the pressure exceeds a predetermined threshold, indicating an obstruction, the control module immediately stops the motor and reverses the tailgate slightly to prevent injury or damage.
