Signal Acquisition: Sensors such as vehicle speed, steering angle, body acceleration, and wheel displacement transmit data to the ECU at frequencies ranging from several hundred to several thousand times per second.
Current Regulation: The ECU outputs a current of 0.3–1.6A (typical range) to the shock absorber coil based on the operating conditions. The greater the current, the stronger the magnetic field.
Damping Variation: The magnetic particles in the magnetic fluid rapidly form chains under the influence of the magnetic field, hindering the flow of the oil, and increasing the damping force (making the shock absorber harder); when the current decreases, the particles disperse, and the oil flows smoothly, reducing the damping force (making the shock absorber softer).
Real-time Closed-loop: The ECU continuously compares the target and actual damping forces, dynamically corrects the output, and ensures the stability of the vehicle's posture.
