Power transmission
The torque output by the differential is transmitted to the driving wheels to drive the vehicle forward.
When the vehicle is turning, adjust the speed difference between the left and right wheels in coordination with the differential to ensure pure rolling of the wheels and reduce tire wear.
Full-floating half axle: It is only responsible for transmitting torque. The support, braking, steering and other forces of the wheels are borne by the axle, making it suitable for heavy-load scenarios.
Semi-floating half shaft: It needs to bear both torque and road reaction force simultaneously. It has a compact structure but a relatively low load capacity and is suitable for light-load vehicles.
Adapt to complex road conditions
For some models (such as four-wheel drive vehicles), the half shafts need to be matched with universal joints (such as constant velocity universal joints) to maintain continuous power transmission when the wheels are bouncing up and down or turning, thereby enhancing driving stability.
